Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a meeting with 40 top sportspersons of the country via video conference. The sporting legends included prominent current and former Indian cricketers like skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virender Sehwag. During the meeting with the sports personalities, the PM discussed about the ongoing crisis owing to the Coronavirus and the subsequent 21-day lockdown as well as the active role sportspersons are playing in the fight against COVID-19.
