The only Twenty20 International between South Africa and India will be played at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on the 30th of March. This match will be played just five days before the IPL season 5 kicks off and also a week after the conclusion of the Asia Cup. For South Africa, the match will be played just three days after the conclusion of their 3-Test Series in New Zealand! Its learnt that the Indian Board and the South African board had prior agreement to play a T20I match on an annual basis. This trend seems to have been started last year when both the sides played a one-off match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban which was turned into a farewell game for fast bowler Makhaya Ntini.
